Angus and Daisy Compete in WorldSkills Australia Carpentry Regional Competition
Posted on August 31, 2026
Last Wednesday, 26 August, ATEC apprentices Angus and Daisy put their carpentry skills to the test at the 2026 WorldSkills Australia Carpentry Regional Competition, held at TAFE SA Tonsley.
Competing against four other talented carpentry apprentices, Angus and Daisy took part in a challenging day-long competition designed to test their practical skills, precision, problem-solving abilities and trade knowledge.
The competition provided a great opportunity for both apprentices to challenge themselves in a competitive environment and demonstrate the skills and experience they have developed throughout their apprenticeships.
ATEC was proud to be there supporting Angus and Daisy as they represented themselves and ATEC throughout the competition.
Taking part in WorldSkills is a fantastic achievement and valuable experience for any apprentice, providing an opportunity to showcase their abilities alongside other emerging tradespeople from across the industry.
Congratulations to Angus and Daisy for stepping up to the challenge and giving it their all. Well done on a fantastic effort!
