Posted on September 15, 2026

ATEC is proud to celebrate the achievements of eight electrical apprentices who were recognised as finalists at the recent NECA Excellence & Apprentice Awards 2026, with three ATEC apprentices taking home awards across the Commercial/Domestic and Industrial categories. This event celebrates excellence and achievement across South Australia’s electrical and communications industry, recognising apprentices who demonstrate strong technical skills, commitment and dedication to their trade.

Three ATEC apprentices take home awards

It was a fantastic result for ATEC, with three of our apprentices placing in their respective categories.

Tiana Tattersall, employed with CME Group, took out first place in the Commercial/Domestic category.

In the Industrial category, Sean Rohan, employed with EDC Expert Group, achieved second place, while Sebastian Menta, employed with DSTAL Electrical, placed third.

These results are a fantastic reflection of the skills and commitment Tiana, Sean and Sebastian have demonstrated throughout their apprenticeships.

Eight ATEC apprentices recognised

Alongside Tiana, Sean and Sebastian, five other ATEC apprentices were nominated for their achievements in the electrical industry.

The Commercial/Domestic finalists were:

  • Tiana Tattersall: CME Group

The Industrial finalists were:

Congratulations to all eight ATEC nominees on their well-deserved recognition, and a special congratulations to Tiana, Sean and Sebastian on their award-winning results.
