Celebrating ATEC’s Training Excellence
ATEC is proud to announce that we have been awarded the 2025 Training and Education Organisation Award at the Weld Australia Welding Excellence Awards, held in November at the Adelaide Pavilion. This prestigious recognition highlights our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality training and creating strong employment pathways for South Australians entering the engineering and fabrication industries.
Celebrating ATEC’s Training Excellence
Winning this award reinforces ATEC’s mission to provide exceptional, industry-focused education that meets the needs of today’s employers. Our Engineering and Fabrication programs are designed to equip students with the skills, confidence, and real-world experience necessary to excel in the workforce.
ATEC apprentices and students benefit from:
- Hands-on training delivered by experienced tradespeople in purpose-built facilities
- Industry-aligned skills development informed by current technologies and employer needs
- Dedicated support services that ensure each student progresses confidently through their training
- Pathways into secure employment are supported by our strong network of host employers
Employment and Apprenticeship Opportunities
As a Group Training Organisation, ATEC not only trains apprentices, but we also employ them. Our apprentices are placed with trusted host employers across South Australia, giving them consistent on-the-job experience while ATEC provides care, support and oversight of their training progression.
We work closely with businesses across engineering, mechanical, fabrication, electrical, carpentry and more to meet workforce needs while ensuring apprentices receive quality placements and ongoing mentorship. This award is a testament to our strong industry partnerships and the high standards our apprentices uphold in the workplace.
