ATEC is proud to announce that, starting in late January 2025, selected training units for MEM31922 Certificate III in Fabrication will be available at our Lonsdale campus, 5 Refinery Road, Lonsdale, South Australia 5160. This exciting addition complements training at our Ottoway campus, providing a much-needed training solution for businesses and apprentices in Adelaide’s southern suburbs.

By offering fabrication training closer to southern suburb businesses, ATEC eliminates the need for long commutes for southern suburb-based apprentices, saving time and making life easier for employers and apprentices alike.

Important Note on Training Locations
While ATEC is excited to offer fabrication apprentice training at Lonsdale, not all units will be delivered at this campus. The engineering workshop at Lonsdale is not equipped with certain machinery such as guillotines, benders, and oxy welding/cutting tools. As a result, approximately 25% of the training units will need to be delivered at our Ottoway campus to ensure apprentices receive comprehensive training with the necessary equipment and facilities.

Entry Requirements

• Signed Training Contract via an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network
• Age 16+ (15+ for school-based apprenticeships)
• Australian/New Zealand Citizen or eligible VISA holder

Fees

• Full Fee: $13,800 (GST exempt)
• Subsidised Fee: $3,193 (GST exempt)
